Back in the Saddle

Okay, so fast forward to Christmas Eve...Lauren and Tucker had received an early Christmas present from Uncle Sam and Aunt Kitty, and it was THE. BEST. PRESENT. EVER. #1--Edable. #2--Disposable. That about sums it up. Well, along of course with fun and decorative. It was a blast.

It was a deluxe gingerbread house. Meaning that we had to actually build it, and there was beaucoup candy decorations to snack on.

The rules with gingerbread houses are there are no rules...
And art is in the eye of the beholder...
A good time was had by all (Tucker ate more than he decorated).

We went to vigil mass on Christmas Eve. Always a daunting task. At mass, all the kids got up front and sang 'happy birthday' to Jesus. Tucker proceeded to become really upset that "the Real Jesus" was not there. That's kind of heavy stuff for a 3 year old...

My kids have fully grown into their birthright and are perfecting their 'silly face' for the camera.

Lauren really got into the details this year with the cookies and milk for Santa and veggies outside for the reindeer. It was exciting.
