A week or so ago, you asked me how I got to be a "great artist" (your words, not mine). I told you that I had just had lots of practice.
If the same holds true, I should be a "great mom" by the time you have grown. I love you so, so much. Parenthood, as cliched as it is, is harder than anything--ANYTHING. I have learned and am learnin so much about myself because I am your mom.
You make me smile. Today, and every day, I am thankful for you.
