Saturday

Today was a good day. We started this morning selling Girl Scout cookies at the mall. I wish I had gotten a pic of Lauren in her Daisy vest. She is too cute! And, while we were there we got a tip that today was Free Pretzel Day at Auntie Anne's--and they weren't kidding!! We got two full-sized (read: huge) cinnamon sugar pretzels for Lauren and Tucker. They were delicious. Not that I know.

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day, and such a departure from the frigid weather we've been having. We celebrated by having a picnic in the park by the river. There were lots of folks out and about and lots of dogs to look at (and they didn't get too close!).
When we were finished, we shared our fries with the fish.

After that, we took a walk around campus and then met Nanny to watch Cousin Garrett's baseball team (Univ. of South Alabama) play at Alabama. Unfortunately, Garrett pitched yesterday, so we didn't get to see him in action, but had fun all the same. The weather could not have been more perfect for watching baseball.

The kids had about fizzled by the end of the first inning. We stayed through seven, but finally had to throw in the towel. Definately an early bedtime tonight!!!
