Of course it would happen on the busiest week of the year for me that Merritt would come down with a horrendous cold. We started out the week this morning in Dr. P's office. Really bad cold--maybe RSV, but no wheezing, and a nasty double ear infection. She looks pitiful. But we have an antibiotic and will hopefully be on the mend by tomorrow. (Sidebar: this is Merritt's second ear infection in the last two months. I realllllly hope that this is not a trend. I reallllllllllllllly would prefer to NOT have to get tubes.)
I am thankful for insurance that allows us to go to the doctor when we need to go. I am thankful for the kind pharmacist at Target who we greeted as soon as he opened his window and got us out of there quickly.
